Since the first place in the final grouping of B group - Udarnik is from Sofia, he enters the place of the last in A group Sofia team - Stroitel. His runner-up, also a team from the capital - Lokomotiv, plays playoffs with the next worst-ranked lineup from Sofia in the elite group - Cherveno zname. The last two provincial teams in the final ranked A group - Torpedo (Pleven) and Torpedo (Ruse), have been replaced by the first provincial teams in B group - VMS (Stalin) and Spartak (Pleven).
