The Army men launched an attack with great impetus. The ball moved with such speed and precision from foot to foot that the spectator did not see them particularly hampered by the snowy pitch. Full attention, full dedication to the game overcame everything. In the second minute, the tangle of passes completely confused the „blue“ defenders, and they watched, numb, as Yakimov slipped past them and went alone against goalkeeper Mihaylov. But they had the good fortune that the goalkeeper parried the ball and saved a goal.
„Levski“ responded with a counter-attack. From a penalty kick, Iliev hit the top corner of the goal, Naydenov could not stop the ball, and the score was 1:0 for „Levski“!

The tempo became even faster, the game now flowed in surges towards one goal and then the other, but the waves crashed more fiercely towards Mihaylov. This, however, happened mainly in the middle third of the pitch. Near Mihaylov, the pressure subsided, accuracy was lost, surprising moves were missing, and, albeit with great effort, the defense repelled every danger.

„Levski“ again applied their variant with a constant change of places between Iliev and Gaydarov. But he often forgot about the existence of the left winger Kostov and did not use his convenient positions.

During a „Levski“ counter-attack, the score unexpectedly swelled to 2:0. Abadzhiev passed two opponents on the right flank, advanced, and passed the ball parallel to the goal, almost along the very line of the penalty area. Here Kostov controlled it and simply presented it to the rushing Iliev, who, without interrupting his sprint, delivered a strong and accurate shot. Naydenov had no time to move from his spot.

Given CDNA's advantage in ball possession, this score for the first half was a surprise. Something more natural, considering „Levski“'s certain bewilderment in the second half and the team's obvious desire to preserve the lead (Iliev was going to take a goal kick!?), was the equalizer that CDNA achieved.

But as time went on, the game faded somewhat. „Levski“'s players aimlessly, restlessly cleared the ball, while CDNA's, as if influenced by this manner, found the most suitable effective moves. And when only two minutes remained until the end and the spectators were already getting up from their seats, Kostadinov advanced on the left and, drawing three army defenders close to the end line, passed in front of the goal. The ball landed precisely with Abadzhiev, who had no marker within a 10-meter radius (1). A shot and a goal followed — 3:2 for „Levski“.
