19. Ivan Turitsov

Biography

Youth of Spartak Pleven from 2007, following this he transferred to the academy of Litex Lovech where he plays as a right back but also as a left back.  He moves to the academy of CSKA during the summer of 2016 and he plays for the under 19 team, becoming champion in the Elite group under 19 for the 2016/17 season.  During the following season he is loaned  to Litex Lovech where he plays regularly.  He starts 2018/19 season in the group of CSKA but after the training camp he is loaned again to Litex Lovech.  On August 22, 2018, he signed his first professional contract with the team of CSKA.  In the beginning of 2019, he returns to CSKA, and immediately is included in the group for the matches of the team.  He debuts for the armymen on February 19, 2019, in the win against Botev Vratsa with 2:1. Winner of the Bulgarian Cup for the 2020/21 season. 

He plays for all youth formations of Bulgaria, for the under 19 team he plays games, where he participates in the European championship under 19.  He plays 3 matches for the under 21 team. He earned his first cap for the senior side on 26 February 2020, playing the full 90 minutes of the 0:1 home loss against Belarus in a friendly game.  He plays a total of 8 matches for the team.
