Septemvri pri CDV, beat Levski 3:1 in the Final for the Republican championship and with a total score of 4:3 won the championship of Bulgaria! The match was played in Sofia at the Yunak Stadium in front of 30,000 spectators.
The military men started at a brisk pace and in the second minute the stadium was rejoicing. Dimitar Milanov scored a magnificent goal on the national goalkeeper Sokolov. In the 17th minute Borislav Tsvetkov used his speed passed several defenders of the military and restored equality 1:1. The first half ended with an even result.
The second half started strong for the military and in the 69th minute Dimitar Milanov tangled the ball into the net. Shortly before the end of the match, a half-high ball reached the captain of Septemvri pri CDV, Nako Chakmakov, who scored with a bombastic shot 3:1! Septemvri pri CDV becomes the new champion of Bulgaria!
The Cup was handed over by General Vladimir Stoychev in the presence of the mayor of Sofia's large municipality Dr. Ivan Pashov and the chairman of the republican football section Hristo Dionisiev.
